Hector Carrillo receives Distinguished Contribution to Research Book Award from Latina/o Sociology section of ASA

We are pleased to announce that Héctor Carrillo is this year’s recipient of the Distinguished Contribution to Research Book Award from the Latina/o Sociology Section of the American Sociological Association. The award, for Héctor’s book Pathways of Desire: The Sexual Migration of Mexican Gay Men, will be presented at the ASA annual meeting in August.
This is the second award for Pathways of Desire from a section of the ASA: the book is also the prizewinner for the Sex and Gender Section.
