Congratulations to Andy Papachristos

It is our pleasure to report that the Community and Urban Sociology Section of the ASA has awarded Andy Papachristos the 2019 Jane Addams Award for his article (coauthored with Sara Bastomski), entitled “Connected in Crime: The Enduring Effect of Neighborhood Networks on the Spatial Patterning of Violence,” published in the American Journal of Sociology.
The award will formally be bestowed at the section’s reception at the ASA.
