It is our honor to announce that Celeste Watkins-Hayes will receive the 2020 Distinguished Book Award from the American Sociological Association’s Section on the Sociology of Sex and Gender. The award recognizes the scholarly significance and impact of Celeste’s book, Remaking a Life: How Women Living With HIV/AIDS Confront Inequality. It will be presented (virtually) at the time of the annual meeting in August.
