Congratulations to Karpf Prize winners, Angel Escamilla and John Lee!
June 3, 2020
Each year the Northwestern Sociology department awards the Maurice J. and Fay B. Karpf Peace Prize to a graduate student or students whose work involves “original contributions to the subject of the promotion of universal peace, goodwill, tolerance, and understanding among the peoples of the earth.” This year we are delighted to present awards to Angel Escamilla for his work on the migration experiences of Central American youth, and John Lee for his work on domestic terrorism and its potential reduction. Please join us in congratulating Angel and John!
