Associate Professor of Sociology

NORTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY’s Department of Sociology invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Associate Professor to begin in the Fall of 2024. We encourage applications from scholars working in all substantive fields. A Ph.D. in Sociology or other appropriate discipline is required at the time of appointment. Applicants should submit a cover letter that includes a statement of research and teaching experience, a curriculum vitae, sample(s) of recent scholarship, and three letters of reference. Applicants should submit a cover letter (up to three single spaced pages) that includes a statement of research and teaching experience, a curriculum vitae, and (up to two) sample(s) of their best scholarship. Applicants also should be prepared to submit three letters of reference upon request.
